Stansted Airport has extended its deal to be headline sponsors of Bishop’s Stortford Means Business.

The expo takes place at South Mill Arts annually, with this year’s successful event having been held on October 23.

And the Uttlesford hub’s commercial director Ciaran Brannigan, who attended the event at the South Road venue, is pleased to be able to continue supporting it.

“We were delighted once again to be the headline sponsor of Bishop’s Stortford Means Business,” he said.

“The event provides a great opportunity for exhibitors to network as well as learn and share best practice.

“With more than 12,000 employees across 200 companies, London Stansted is a key enabler of economic growth and productivity in the region.

“We are committed to supporting local SMEs and businesses and ensuring they continue to benefit from our success.

“Therefore we are pleased to announce that we will continue to support Bishop’s Stortford Means Business by sponsoring the event in 2025.”

BSMB was founded in 2001 by Marketing Kinetics’ Bob Lee before he handed over the reins to Brett Shohet, of Stortford firm B7 Media Group and VISION Publications, two years ago.

Special guests at this autumn’s event also included Hertford and Stortford MP Josh Dean, Stortford mayor Cllr Richard Townsend and cyber security expert Ben Owen, who held one of the many seminars.

“The 2024 BSMB was a resounding success and a true testament to the strength and diversity of our local business community,” said Shohet.

“Since its inception in 2001, BSMB has offered businesses in and around Bishop’s Stortford a unique opportunity to showcase their products and services, foster connections and engage with local residents in an environment dedicated to collaboration and growth.

“BSMB is all about recognising the efforts of all businesses, whether they’re on the high street or operating independently in the wider community.”

Stands can now be booked for next year’s BSMB which will be held on Wednesday October 22. Find out more at www.bsmb.co.uk.
