Former England and Essex captain Graham Gooch presents Tees Herts & Essex Border Cricket League awards
Former England and Essex captain Graham Gooch handed out the awards at the Tees Herts & Essex Border League’s annual presentation dinner.
The batsman, who racked up more than 67,000 runs in all formats during a stellar career, also gave a speech during the event at Harlow Cricket Club.
Gooch had help giving out the prizes from Ashton Hunt, the managing director of the league’s sponsor.
Nazeing Common, Potter Street & Church Langley, Cloghams and Takeley II picked up their trophies for winning the Premier Division, Division One, Division Two and Division Three respectively.
Farnham claimed the League Cup while the Lords League Shield was collected by Ardeley Walkern.
Bengeo, Bishop’s Stortford III, High Roding III and Matching Green II all earned fair play awards in their respective divisions while a host of players were recognised for individual achievements.
