Dame Bradbury’s Junior School under-nines joint winners of Uttlesford District Indoor Athletics Championships
Dame Bradbury’s Junior School under-nines were joint winners of the Uttlesford District Indoor Athletics Championships.
The team of Year 4 pupils from the Saffron Walden school shared top spot with Great Dunmow Primary School at Lord Butler Leisure Centre.
They will now go for further glory when they take part in the Essex county finals.
“I’m incredibly proud of our under-nine athletics team,” said Sam Godfrey, head of sport at Dame Bradbury’s Junior School. “Our pupils have worked really hard in their PE lessons to improve in each event.
“Our Year 4s are a very talented group and it is exciting to see how they will progress over the next few years.”
