Lasers ready to light up the Hertfordshire sky as Classic Ibiza returns
Classic Ibiza returns to Hertfordshire this month with Stephen Hussey’s 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO).
The concert at Hatfield House on Saturday August 17 is the latest in a nationwide summer tour.
Doors will open at 5pm for a Chill-Out DJ Set featuring laidback beats for a relaxing picnic ahead of the main event.
From 6pm, DJ Jose Luis, a former Pacha Ibiza resident, takes control of the decks for his Afro/Latin house set, which includes a live jamming session with members of USO.
The orchestra takes centre stage at 7pm with DJ Goldierocks for the San Miguel Sundowner Set. The set includes 16 tracks, including five new orchestrations from the likes of Moby, CamelPhat and David Morales.
Goldierocks takes over from 8.30pm with her Deep House DJ set, when she will be dropping a generation-busting mix of Ibiza anthems.
USO and DJ Goldierocks are reunited on stage at 9pm for The Dance Set. Packed full of 25 house classics, the 90-minute set includes 11 completely new arrangements and is accompanied by a laser and light show.
Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible feedback we’ve received for our 2024 tour.
“Alongside 16 never-heard-before orchestrations, we’ve upped the ante with a fantastic new stage and sound system and even more lights, lasers and pyrotechnics.
“Classic Ibiza this year is definitely a symphony for all your senses! We can’t wait to party with everyone at Hatfield in August.”
Limited tickets are still available from classicibiza.co.uk. They are priced at £49.50 for adults and £25 for children aged 5 to 17 (under-5s go free). The show supports the Herts Young Homeless charity.
Parking is free and guests can take a picnic or buy from the on-site street-food vendors and a San Miguel Bar.
